Police Looking To Take Individual Into Custody In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- The Redondo Beach Police Department is reporting that an incident that began in their city is now active in Manhattan Beach, in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and 8th Street, according to RB police dispatch.

The City of Manhattan Beach issued an advisory around 7:32 a.m. today [Tuesday, April 20] asking the public to avoid the area of northbound Sepulveda Boulevard at 8th Street due to police activity. 

An employee at Jack in the Box at 815 North Sepulveda Boulevard told MB Shore he saw an individual fleeing on foot. RB police dispatch told MB Shore that police know the location of the individual they are searching for and that the subject is contained.
