Hip hop superstar Kendrick Lamar has joined the throng of celebrities and executives moving to Manhattan Beach. The rapper, songwriter, and record producer recently purchased a brand new home in the city for nearly $10 million, according to Variety.
Longtime South Bay real estate agent Gary Kooba of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices had the off-market listing. Gary Norton of the local Palm Realty Boutique repped Lamar, who has 13 Grammys and a Pulitzer Prize. He won the Pulitzer in Music in 2018 for his hit song, "Damn," a look at the complexities of modern African-American life.
Lamar's new mansion features four bedrooms and seven full bathrooms in 5,350-square-feet of interior living space. The three-story structure takes up most of the lot which is on a Walk Street in the Sand Section.
